It is recommended that a Christian pays tithes, preferably to a local ministry. For our own part here, we direct some of our proceeds to the Blue Letter Bible organization, and a few more that provide Christian resources online.
Of course, this ministry pays 10% locally.
PLUS: At least 10% to other online resources.
What I recommend of course, 10% to a local ministry in your area, and then if there are online resources that are beneficial, consider any extra to go to those. Here, we read from the Blue Letter Bible frequently on multiple devices, and do word studies using that site's resources, so we make sure to send donations to that group for all the help that their resources provide.
Remember the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few. Also, Jesus told that any "worker" in the ministry, gets a nice equal share, whether its one day, one year, or decades of service. The wage is salvation, and its available to all no matter how late or early in one's life he or she decides to give their lives to the Lord.
If there is a resource other than a local ministry that has been beneficial to you, if you use that resource regularly, decide prayerfully whether you should donate to that organization.
