On Halloween 2022

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. -1 Peter 5

Current steadfast Christians have come into the recent vogue of reminding that there was once a "church-safe" Christian tradition of dressing up as saints instead of movie monsters, on Halloween, the supposed origin of modern Halloween costumes.  This obviously invites us to lament that the saints aren't seen on Halloween, and instead we have to look at people dressed as monsters.......
